Finding Hope in the storms of defeat and Discouragement.

Have you been hit by a storm of defeat? Perhaps what you were 100% sure will succeed turns out to be a failure? Or Someone you really trusted and and relied on to assist you in your project suddenly fails you. Or maybe your expectations of that relationship has turn to be the worst you have ever experience in Life?. My dear friend, these are some of the storms that comes our way in life.

The voices in this world, the enemy’s lies, and even our own negative words can do a pretty good job of making us feel defeated and anxious. Choose to tune
out from all that mess, and instead choose to listen to what God says about you. He reminds you that you are more than a conqueror. He tells you not to fear.

Just as God was commanding his people in Joshua 1:9, “This is my Command, BE STRONG and COURAGEOUS, DO NOT BE AFRAID for the Lord your God is with you where ever you go.”  If you are defeated, BE STRONG, if you are discouraged, BE COURAGEOUS. If you are afraid of what the future holds for that plan, project or that relationship that looks shaky, God is COMMANDING you today, DO NOT BE AFRAID.

David in Psalms 43:5, started pondering and asking serious questions. when he face discouragement and defeat as a King at that time, he started asking himself  “Why am I even discouraged and Sad?” So it does not matter how important or wealthy you are. We all at certain moments in our lives face defeat and discouragements. But if we put our hope in God and Praise him as David did in the book of Psalms, God will strengthen us and turn the table to our favor.

Finally, According to Romans 16:20, the God of Peace will soon crush Satan under your feet, and may the grace of our Lord be with you and your families today

I Pray that God will help you to have wisdom in whose voice you listen today, and that your thoughts would be focused on him, who is more than able to do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ever ask or think, or even imagine. He is the same great God, yesterday, today and forever.
Shalom – WDI
