The Lord God will fight for you – Keep Calm

Many of us fail in battles and struggles of life just because we keep claiming the “Mr do it all” attitude.  One thing  I Love about the Man of God Moses  is that, he had a total and Complete dependence on God. When the Israelites  heard sounds of chariots and horses of Egyptians, coming behind them like a herd of thirsty buffaloes . They could even feel the vibration of the ground as the hooves of Egyptian stallions breaking rocks , with battle horns and chanting war songs, they were so terrified in such a way that they started cursing Moses, and regretting why they even followed him out of slavery in the first place. But one good thing they did was that, ” they Cried  out unto the Lord”. I can really imagine the kind of pressure Moses was under, Since he had faith in God for their salvation, he never care about self defense at that moment. Neither did he tell Joshua to assemble the soldiers for a tactical retaliation, NO !!!. Instead of giving a battle command to Joshua, this is what he said ” Fear ye not, stand still, and see the Salvation of the LORD which he will show to you today, for the Egyptians (Enemies, problems, Challenges, struggles) which you have seen today, You will see them no more”…and that was all about the soldiers of Pharaoh that day.

Exodus 14:14 – The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace.

Now, it was not by the army of  Moses that defeated the all powerful  soldiers of Egypt, but by the hand of God, who fought for them. Many at times in the mist of chaos, shock and disorder in our lives, we tend to focus on our might and available defense, forgetting that on our own we cannot make it. If we will develop the culture and habit of total dependency of God for our battles, then we will have our peace. The battle is the Lord’s, all we have to do is play our part by calling on him for our deliverance as Moses did, and He will surely show up  in our favor.

Psalms 118:8- It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence in man.

Man will fail you, the arm of flesh will fail you, but God will not fail you if you trust in Him. Your Victory is closer than you imagined…… Stay focused

  1. There’s no mistaking His emphasis when God’s Spirit moves more than one person to give the same message. Very prophetic, reading your message and Laurabon’s. God be praised!
