God did it in the past, He will do it again and again.

Isn’t it amazing that we testify of the goodness of God in the lives of our brothers, families and friends?. We are always filled with joy and sing new songs when God responds to us in times of need and we get our heart desires. When God delivered you miraculously from that accident, you were so thankful and offered praises to his name. When you were broke last year and unable to settle your bills, miraculously God provided and you were not evicted out of your apartment. Isn’t that  amazing?

Now, you are faced with similar situation, or a brother and friend is in the same situation, you start looking for alternative solutions here and there, complaints set in and you start blaming A and B. You have quickly forgotten that, the same God of yesterday is the same God of today. It does not even cross your mind that the God who did it for your friend or brother is the same God today and even tomorrow.

Jacob understood that the God of Abraham and his father Isaac could save him from the rage of his brother, could deliver him from the hands of his dubious father in-law. David understood that the God who saved him and his flock from the Lion and bear will deliver the Philistine giant into his hands.

Why don’t you think of what God has done for you in the past and trust him to settle this case for you now.?  Think of how God was good to you in the past and save you from dangerous calamities, call on him today, remind Him of what he did for you in the past and tell him to do it again and again. God had mercy on you in the past when you were dead in sin and trespasses. He is able to cleans you from all sin today and restore the Joy of your salvation.

He is the Same Yesterday, today and Forever – He Changeth not.

Habakkuk 3:2  – I have heard all about you, lord.     I am filled with awe by your amazing works. In this time of our deep need,     help us again as you did in years gone by. And in your anger,     remember your mercy
