You think about His omniscience, He knows everything. God is the God of all knowledge. God inhabits eternity. God sees the beginning. God sees the middle. God sees the end. God sees it all at one time. God is all-knowing – He can’t learn anything. God knows everything that’s going to happen. Not a blade of grass moves but what He knows it. If you’re saved, God knew that you would receive the Lord Jesus Christ. Nothing takes God by surprise. God never says, “Ooops.. I never thought of that.” 🙂 God is omniscient. I don’t understand how He swung the stars in the night sky. Or scooped the oceans and heaped up the mountains and runs this mighty universe. Romans 11:34 says, “For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been His counsellor?” We don’t have to know all that our Father does for Him to be our Father.
And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So do not be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
I was listening to Bishop TD Jakes the other day, and one thing I understood from his teaching was that , nothing just Happens. As a child of God, anything that happens to you does not surprise God, He knows it all. It is either he wants you to learn something out of that situation, or prevents the worse from happening to you. Or other reasons that you will thank him later. Have you ever met the person you broke up with some years ago and you thought the end was near, only for you to say ” thank God we did not get married, they are all broken and Jacked up? God saw it coming, but you were so short-sighted to see what danger that was ahead. He knows it all. That’s why the Bible says “In EVERYTHING, give thanks, for it is the will of God concerning your Life ( 1Thesalonians 5:17). He told Jeremiah, Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.” Jer 1:5 . Give thanks for that disappoint, give thanks for that setback, there is an appointment after that disappointment. As long as you are passionate about the things of God and you trust and live according to His precepts, things will always turn around for your good. He is God and He knows it all.
To those who keep on perpetrating evil on others, hurting people and communities, being arrogant and taking advantage of other, God knows it all , “Stop acting so proud and haughty! Don’t speak with such arrogance! For the LORD is a God who knows what you have done; he will judge your actions. 1Sam 2:3
Rom 11: 33 – 34 – Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand his decisions and his ways!
For who can know the LORD’s thoughts? Who knows enough to give him advice?
May you have a fruitful week ahead.
